Statements of C++

  Statements A computer program is a sequence of instructions that tell the computer what to do. A  statement  is a type of instruction that causes the program to  perform some action . Statements are by far the most common type of instruction in a C++ program. This is because they are the smallest independent unit of computation in the C++ language. In that regard, they act much like sentences do in natural language. When we want to convey an idea to another person, we typically write or speak in sentences (not in random words or syllables). In C++, when we want to have our program do something, we typically write statements. Most (but not all) statements in C++ end in a semicolon. If you see a line that ends in a semicolon, it’s probably a statement. In a high-level language such as C++, a single statement may compile into many machine language instructions. For advanced readers There are many different kinds of statements in C++: Declaration statements Jump statem...

[Solution] Fibsieve's Fantabulous Birthday C/C++/python

  Fibsieve's Fantabulous Birthday                English              Fibsieve had a fantabulous (yes, it's an actual word) birthday party this year. He had so many gifts that he was actually thinking of not having a party next year. Among these gifts there was an  N x N  glass chessboard that had a light in each of its cells. When the board was turned on a distinct cell would light up every second, and then go dark. The cells would light up in the sequence shown in the diagram. Each cell is marked with the second in which it would light up. 25 24 23 22 21 10 11 12 13 20 9 8 7 14 19 2 3 6 15 18 1 4 5 16 17 In the first second the light at cell (1, 1) would be on. And in the 5th second the cell (3, 1) would be on. Now, Fibsieve is trying to predict which cell will light up at a certain time (given in seconds). Assume that  N  is large enough. Input Input starts with an integ...

This N will be the number of integer numbers  X  that will be read.   Print how many these numbers  X  are in the interval [10,20] and how many values are out of this interval. Input The first line of input is an integer  N  ( N  < 10000), that indicates the total number of test cases. Each case is an integer number  X  (-10 7  <  X  < 10 7 ).   Output For each test case, print how many numbers are in and how many values are out of the interval.
