With the rise of Bun, the JavaScript ecosystem is seeing one of its biggest shifts in years—and the performance numbers are hard to ignore:

Is Node.js Dying?

That said

Node.js—the original backbone of backend JavaScript remains rock-solid, battle-tested, and backed by a massive ecosystem and community.

My takeaway:

Node.js isn’t dying.
But Bun is raising the bar for what a modern JavaScript runtime can be.
And yes—Bun feels like the future of this space
